The coronavirus pandemic has shaken the world by its dangerous impacts on the health of the people. The virus has to lead to the loss of many innocent lives and is still increasing. Coronavirus latest count across the world touched the benchmark of 37 million, and the second-most populous country is also standing on the second number of the total number of cases in the country.

India, the second-most populous nation in the world, is also standing on the second number in the list of the total number of cases tally, following the United States of America in the first place.

Coronavirus latest development in India

Coronavirus latest development in the second most populous nation has brought it to the count of having around 7.12 million cases in total. The virus has taken the lives of about 109 thousand people in the country. Among these, approximately 6.15 million people have survived the virus and are now fully recovered.

India faces many losses while passing through this global pandemic; as per some agencies, around 12 crore people lost their jobs during this pandemic. The business has suffered losses on large scales no matter it was a small business or a large company; all of them suffered the loss.

According to the Indian census 2011, around 22% of the Indian population is low and is even worse. Thousands of people migrated from one state to another in India, among which hundreds of people went back to their home by walking in India’s dangerous summer.

With the government arrangement, people had to reach their homes as soon as possible.

Coronavirus’s latest update in India also brings our attention to the upcoming elections in the state of Bihar, India. India is a country working on fully democratic functioning, and every year there is an election in India’s one or other form. Bihar elections will be the most significant issue when the NationNation fights the virus while collecting people at a commonplace. India has a restriction on people’s mass gathering at a commonplace; however, Indian politics highly depends on rallies. It will be an exceptionally challenging task to manage the people during this coronavirus latest outbreak.

Timeline of coronavirus in India

The coronavirus’s latest condition in India often asks us how India came from No corona case to 7.1 million corona cases? This question is also fundamental when we see that India has gone through one of the considerable lockdown periods and is still not entirely open for all types of activities.

The coronavirus case was found in India on January 30, 2020, which came to 15 in march when the NationNation went under a Janta Curfew. The prime minister requested the citizen of the NationNation to stay at their homes by keeping one day Janta curfew on March 22, 2020, which was supposed to end at 9:00 pm Indian standard time but further extended into lockdown.

Lockdown one was imposed from March 25, 2020, to April 14, 2020, believing that the cases will go down and India will be safe from the coronavirus outbreak. However, further lockdown 2.o existed from April 15 to May 3. From April 16, different areas were categorized as red zone [ highly infectious area hotspot], orange zone [some infectious], and green zone with no infection.

Phase 3 and Phase 4 were also imposed for nationwide lockdown, and they were from May 4 to May 17 and May 18 to May 31. After this, the NationNation started to unlock.

Unlocks and coronavirus in India

Unlock 1.o, which started in June, includes particular guidelines from the ministry of home affairs. Shopping malls, religious places, hotels, and restaurants were allowed to open, but mass gathering was still not allowed. A night curfew from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am was in impact. Permission was required for interstate travel, and restrictions were imposed as per the type of zones.

Unlock 2.o started in July in which Lockdown conditions only imposed in containment zones; night curfews were still in effect from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. State governments were also allowed to put some restrictions on their own. Moreover, further guidelines on the Arogyasetu app and wearing of the mask were suggested.

Unlock 3.o was for the month of august night curfews were over, and gymnasium and yoga centers were all set for opening. Educational institutions were still closed for students. India also celebrated their independence Day under unlock 3 with some restriction of social distancing. By now, coronavirus’s latest number of emerging cases every day were around 55 thousand on an average.

Unlock 4.o the month of September brought unlock 4 for the coronavirus latest update in India; activity permitted. Containment zones were still under strict lockdown; social gathering got some relief. Still, masks are compulsory, and the NationNation is fighting with and an average of 70 thousand cases every day.

Unlock 5.o the guidelines are the coronavirus latest news in the NationNation as it is for October. The opening of schools is a decision of the states and recommended that they try education online only. Lockdown will still be the practice in the containment zones.

However, the coronavirus latest fight is going to be with the Indian population. India’s Bihar state is very densely populated. The country’s literacy rate is also not that good; this makes it problematic to explain how important and life-saving the use of mask can be for their family.

Moreover, the Indian election commission also has this responsibility to conduct free and fair elections while following the social distancing norms and restrictions.
